April 2012 Bridal Show - Waupaca Ale House {Wisconsin Wedding Photographer}

When a co-worker told me that I should do the Bridal Show that she is help plan with the Buyers Guide, I first thought...NO WAY. But then I thought about it, and thought...why the heck not. So I started planning, searched online examples of booths, and then came up with my own ideas - once I knew what a Bridal Show was supposed to be like. I have not been to a bridal show since I was about 8 and I brother was getting married. So I went into this having NO CLUE what was to be done. I had LOTS of help from my sister Carolynn - in planning ways to get people interested in me. Also, I KNEW I wanted a booth where I did not stand behind a table and wait for people to talk to me. So my booth was wide open, ready for you to come in and look at all my photos.

The theme of my booth, was a natural feel, and vintage - so take a look at the process :)

First started with a mock up in my parents garage - the photo below is my Dad and Justin putting together my pallet wall. 

Then the cookie making began --- YUM! I thought...everyone gives candy, but everyone LOVES cookies!

And here my booth is at the show. This was taken at the end of the show - almost forgot to photograph it...geesh. (these were taken without a flash - sorry about the blurriness) 

This is a closeup of the photos that were hanging in the frames. 

I am hoping this show was a success - and people got interested in me. I am going to plan another show this coming Winter. But THANK YOU to all that came out to the show and showed their support, and registered to WIN!

I just finished my first Bridal Show in Waupaca and a blog will be coming about that soon - but I wanted to write about my wedding prices and packages. Spring Mini Sessions {Wisconsin Lifestyle Photographer}

Introducing my Spring Mini Sessions!

Mini Sessions are GREAT for couples and families of small children, and especially if you have been talking about getting an updated photo of you an your family or significant other! The session is only 30 min, and it gets you and your family at it's most natural - capturing your unique personalities, and just plain HAVING FUN!

The sessions will be held in Wild Rose - and the session is ONLY $85 and you get a disc of up to 10 images!

Andrew + Michelle = Engaged {Appleton, Wisconsin Lifestyle Engagement Photographer}

Sine the night I first met Andrew and Michelle - I fell in love with them... SERIOUSLY! These two are wonderful people! We had a hoot talking about how cats have personalities, and how their cute little dog is going to be part of their wedding. Andrew and Michelle, met while acting in the Rocky Horror Picture Show - doesn't that just totally ROCK?! They are two actors out of Appleton who are planning the best play of their lives, with a Happily Ever After!

For their engagement session they wanted an industrial feel to it, so I met them in the 'flats' of Appleton. And if you do not know this part of the city, please go see it! It is beautiful! All the brick, metal, and water - LOVE!

Andrew and Michelle were wonderful to photograph, they knew how to stand, look, and look fierce! She did the serious look without looking like she wanted to kill me. (Watching 'Americas Top Model' pays off!)

This next photo is SOOO my favorite from the whole day!!!

The one below is proof that Michelle totally IS photogenic! 

And we can't forget about that little dog that will be part of the big day!
