JoAnn Romeo {Headshots} w/husband James Romeo

My sister JoAnn asked me back in December to take her headshots, and it was during Christmas and hectic. So yes I forgot, and the one that I did take then did not turn out that great, SOOO we did it again. And this time I think we are both much happier with the outcome, I know I am :)

I drove to St Paul to meet them, and we went to a beautiful park. This park had a rose garden and LOTS of beautiful flowers! I did get side tracked a few times and had to get some of the flowers, but we had fun walking through and getting some great shots!

James tagged along because I said we needed to get some of the two of them, because they don't have many together. AND because our mother wants one :)

Some background to why JoAnn needs headshots : She is going to school to be a make-up artist, and she needs some professional photos for her profile. JoAnn gets really excited about all the new things she is learning and going to learn in school. I personally don't understand it all, but I love how excited she gets!

So first are going to be some of JoAnn's headshots.

This last one James posed it to take on his phone, so I snuck behind him to see what he had...good work James.

Now it's time for the couples!
Starting off with a ring shot that they wanted, they didn't like the one from their wedding so they wanted a re-due.

This willow tree was AMAZING!

This next one I totally said out loud "oh I love you kate!" meaning that Kate of Kate Bentley Photography taught me that you can use flash outside in the daytime to fill the face!

It was a great day, thanks again JoAnn!

Chris & Andrea....and little Lily {Engaged}

Chris & Andrea are such an easy couple to photograph, they were just so fun, and easy going. Lily joined us for the shoot, and let me tell you this little girl was SOO cute! Chris and Andrea were up for anything, right away I had them in the grass and walking into the trees....they were huge sports!

It was also easy because Andrea and I have known each other for YEARS! She was/is such a kind person, and I am happy that she met someone who also is so kind! Chris you got yourself a catch!

Meet Lily!

The following one is an idea that I've had since my Aunt and Uncle lent me these chairs!

Ok this is one of my favorite rings shots yet! As I was taking this shot, a train was slowly coming down the tracks...but I got it just in time...whew!

Congrats Chris and Andrea! Can't wait till the wedding!

Mr & Mrs Boettcher {The Wedding}

Carolyn, Paul and I met a few years ago while working at Hilltop Bar & Grill, we all hit if off pretty quickly! I would have never thought that Carolyn would ask me to photograph her wedding. (Well needless to say I had NO idea that at the time I was going to be a photographer :) Carolyn even helped me with the name of my business!

So needless to say when Carolyn asked me to photograph her wedding I was honored and STOKED! And the 1st thing we both agreed on is that we want to be friends at the end, and I think we might be a little closer because of it.

Carolyn and Paul's concept to the wedding was great! So natural, and relaxed. Carolyn wasn't even nervous before the wedding, she was just having fun getting ready with the girls. Paul was having fun talking and having a few beers with the guys. They just wanted to share their love with the world!

These signs were great! Carolyn painted them!
The ceremony was in the grooms family home.
LOVE the flowers that were hanging all around the tent!
Let me just say I LOVED this dress...no photo I took would show the beauty of this dress!
Alright time to get ready!
Carolyn's mom see's her for the first time in her dress.....I teared up.
The guys are waiting....
Carolyn peaking at her guests....
Its time.....
The bride and groom see each other for the first time! Since Carolyn came from the side and then up, Paul tried so hard not to turn his head to see his bride, but Carolyn couldn't resist a peak. Her smile was just beaming!
Instead of a unity candle they poured sand into a capsule.
YAY! Look how happy they are! :)
The Reception was at Shawano County Pavillian the building is amazingly beautiful on the inside!
The first dance....
I love the light with this one!
Congrats Paul and Carolyn....Much thanks!
