Samantha - Baby Bump Love {Waupaca Wisconsin Maternity Photographer}

If you don't know by now - I ADORE baby bumps! Not sure why exactly - the way the mom glows, the way they are so happy about a new adventure in their lives. The sheer happiness that is around this kind of session - LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

My dear friend Samantha is due in 1 week and she is seriously one of the sweetest people I know. Her and Ryan are going to be amazing parents, and I can't wait to meet the little girl! 

Samantha and I went to one of my favorite locations, where I found out that she knew the owners and walked the area daily in the summer. So she told me stories about walking with her Mom, where the trails went and got to pet some pretty cool dogs. The light during our session was PERFECT! Couldn't have asked for a better night. Samantha is beautiful and she made my job easy. She is beautiful, caring, and up for anything. <3

I seriously can't wait to meet this little girl that is coming into an AMAZING family! Couldn't ask for a more caring loving Mom :) Sam THANK YOU so much for letting me photograph you and your baby bump - it was so great to see you. And hope all is well.

How To and WHY You Should Book a Photographer Early - {Stevens Point Wisconsin Photographer}

So with all the awesome Black Friday deals happening this week with some totally awesome photographers in Wisconsin - I got to wondering if people are thinking about their next family portrait with all the Holiday craziness. Most probably are not - totally understand able - 2013 seems so far away - Spring seems like a world away. So I have some simple steps that I implement in my daily world, PLAN PLAN PLAN.

1. Think of when you want your family photos done - Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter

2. Then just pick a month.

3. Contact the photographer of your choice.

4. Tell that photographer that you want to book a session with them - but not sure on a date. If this was me I would :

1. Ask you what day of the week is best.
2. Then I would give you a few dates.
3. You pick one.
4. Then insure you as I send you a contract and payment information - that I will send you a reminder a few weeks (1 month) before you session date and confirm that it is still a excellent day to photograph you and your family

5. BAM your session is booked 6 months from now!

So after these steps you can now book with any photographer of your choice - which would be AWESOME if it as me, because .......

Now WHY you should book early:

Book early and plan ahead so you are not trying to squeeze it into your busy life. This way you will have enough time to book your session, plan your outfits, plan your locations, get to know your photographer, and you photographer can get to know you. Getting to know each other is always good - this is why I am implementing get to know you consultations in 2013. This is where we will meet before your session and talk about what you expect out of your session. This way you get the ultimate experience.

Also, by booking early to get your date set ASAP, so then you can get in to the photographer of your choice rather than going for Plan B.

Nolan is 6 Months {Stevens Point Wisocnsin Eco Friendly Lifestyle Photographer}

I got to see this adorable little man again - and YES I adore this family! This little man has changed so much - I can't wait to share all the photos after his 1 yr photo session! This little guy LOVED being in his diaper only, no clothes. Giggling, laughing - enjoying himself! But as soon as we put his clothes on - no more laughs, giggles were harder to get - he just wanted his clothes back off. Are we seeing into the future to his college days? I hope not Mom - but your little man makes me smile every-time I edit, and photograph him.

The Weisz Family - Fall 2012 {La Crosse Wisconsin Family Photographer}

I am so glad that I was picked to photograph this family in a Photography Group Session Swap! Krista is a photographer over in Rochester Minnesota at her company The Moments of Life - which by the way I ADORE her work. It was and always is nerve wrecking to photograph another photographer - wondering if they are critiquing you while you shoot. But of course Krista put me right at ease - her family is so laid back but yet FULL of energy. I wish I could figure out how to bottle those kids energy and drink it daily! 

Since we life so far away from each other we met in La Crosse, Wisconsin for their shoot - up on top of Grandads bluff. The tall grass, and light were just AMAZING! 

Thank you so much for spending the evening with us! Your family is WONDERFUL! And we much get together again!

Mathew & Carlee Jo - Engaged {Stevens Point Wisconsin Engagement/Wedding Photographer}

Let me first say that Mathew and Carlee are a HOOT! I have never laughed so much after an engagement session before - they were so natural - giddy and so in love with each other. I LOVED IT! We met at Jordan Park outside of Stevens Point - This park is beautiful! full of trees, water, trails - everything this couple wanted. Their theme for their wedding is 'bringing the outside in' so nature is there thing. We were all a match made in heaven - I love the outdoors and always at home when I am in the woods. 

I seriously cannot wait for your wedding Mathew and Carlee Jo - I know it is going to be a BLAST!

Kyle & Anna - Engaged {Wausau Wisconsin Engagment/Wedding Photographer}

When I first met Kyle and Anna - we hit it off right way. They are goofy fun - and outdoorsy like Justin & I. Oh and not to mention I ADORE Anna's style! Kyle is a goof that made this session even more fun - the way he made Anna naturally smile - LOVE! The ideas they had were great too - even Kyle had ideas!!!!!! No lie my face hurt from giggling and laughing so much with these two, I just know that their wedding is going to be a BLAST!!!!!!

We met at the Dell's of Eau Claire on a BEAUTIFUL but chilly morning - I was happy to introduce them to the park since they have never been. And again I had the park all to myself with these two! Couldn't have been any better!

Chad & Samantha - Engaged and in Love {Appleton Wisconsin Engagement Photographer}

First of all let me say that these two are ADORABLE - and troopers for getting up early on a rainy chilly day. I was envious of Samantha's outfits too! We went down the road from their apartment to a little subdivision where there's a totally awesome walkway with tall grass and everything, you wouldn't know from the pictures that we are surrounded by houses and a major highway. The willow photo are right behind there garage - had to shoot around red lawn mowers, blue pick up trucks. But man oh man that yellow willow was BEAUTIFUL!

Chad and Samantha seriously are a adorable (yes I am saying it again) couple - natural, smile all the time - so in love. LOVE IT!

Thank you again Chad and Samantha for getting up on a chilly Saturday morning - can't wait till your wedding!
