Jordynn & Teri {Mother/Daughter Session -Wisconsin Lifestyle Photographer}

When I found out that this little girls name was Jordynn - I KNEW I had to take her photos at Jordan Park in Stevens Point!! It was perfect!! And she thought so too, she told ALL her friends that she is getting her photos done and HER park! The day was perfect for their photos too! It was chilly, but the sun was beautiful! We had fun on the slide, chasing birds, using a rock as a slide too! AND she found and AWESOME walking stick!

The reason Teri wanted a session with just her daughter is because she is the one always behind the camera taking photos of the family - so she wanted a special time just with Jordynn so they could get some photos together for once. I LOVE this session - and encourage Mother's AND Fathers to do special sessions like this one. 

Jordynn is the cutest - she was a little shy, but when it came to her photos she GOT IT! She mad me giggle every time I would snap a photo she would walk away...it was silly. 

Below I told her she could pose anyway she wanted - this is what she picked! She's a natural!

Cassandra & Brant {Expecting - Madison Wisconsin Lifestyle Maternity Photographer}

If you don't know by now, Baby Bumps are some of my favorite sessions! So when a co-worker/friend of mine asked me to photograph her growing baby bump I jumped and said YES! This girl is full of life, so her session was nothing but fun. We went to Olbrich Botanical Gardens  in Madison, WI - and if you have not been there you MUST go! It's beautiful, the outdoor gardens are even beautiful in the winter, and on a chilly day go inside for a small charge of $2 into the warm tropics - where the plants are green, and the flowers are beautiful. Here we walked around, and had a brief session in the chilly sun. 

Cassandra and Brant are due in May - her Bump is small, but her glow is awesome.

Sledding - 2011 & 2012 {Wisconsin Lifestyle Photographer}

So I had the pleasure of attending and photographing my Aunt and Uncles Annual Tobogganing Party! This party is just a party where kids can be free to be themselves, and adults are free to act like kids. We go to a steep hill in Wild Rose behind a cornfield - and on top there is a campfire to roast hot dogs, and drinks for adults and kids. I am going to write and show you 2011's party and 2012's party - there is one HUGE difference between the two....SNOW! In 2011 we had FEET of snow, and it even snowed the day of the party. In 2012 we had VERY little amounts of snow - so there was no sledding. But without the snow friends decided to still get together and be merry - hiking was involved, along with pooches, and drinks.

 He tried to snowboard down on the sled, and below was the outcome - no injury's involved. 

The picture below is one of my favorites from that day last year - I love the beards, and how they seem in deep thought.

These parties are ALWAYS a blast - and I am very thankfully that my Aunt asked me every year to attend and photograph it. I am hoping for snow next year, and I CAN NOT wait till the next party :)

Skweres Family - Mini Session {WIld Rose, Wisconsin Lifestyle Family Photographer}

So back in November when it was chilly, I put up a contest for a Snow Ball Fight Session - and the WINNERS were the Skweres Family! We have been putting the session off for most of the Winter, since we got no snow till the end of January. So we finally just went for it - there was very little snow, but we had some fun on the ice. This family is seriously my favorite family to photograph, the kids are so gosh darn cute, and always up for anything! And it's like they are reading my mind when it comes to ideas - they think of them a few minutes before I can bring it up!

Since we could not have a snowball fight, I made a nice set up in a field. A fainting couch covered in patch quilts with a beautiful backdrop of golden peaking out of the snow. BEAUTIFUL.

Before we all piled on the couch, the kids had some fun on a little patch of ice - yes me and my assistant got in on the action too! The kids loved it!

This kid can make me laugh :)

I think she was blocking her eyes from the sun, but we all thought she was posing - it was so cute! OH - AND her hat was a cupcake!

This this was has talent - she made her earrings from shrinadinks! AWESOME!
