Mr & Mrs Tepolt at the OuterEdge Stage {Appleton Wisconsin Wedding Photographer}

This blog would have been one of the longest in mystery for a wedding if I didn't stop myself from adding photos! This couple was seriously AMAZING! And their venue was GORGEOUS! And they had vows inspired by Dr Seuss .... I will love you more than pie, I will love you till you die ...

Andrew loves lists like I do, and their wedding was planned to the T with lists, lists from me, for me, from the wedding planner, the DJ, the light guy! It was GREAT! Did you see that I said LIGHT GUY! Yes the OuterEdge Stage has state of the art lighting and music! The wedding party walked down the isle on red carpet - then danced down in rad style! They were literally center stage to express their love for each other - and when they did this I balled like a baby! (this wedding was the FIRST to make me cry 3 or more times!) Her maid of honor speech - tears again .... Andrew and Michelle are two wonderful people were surrounded their day with the ones they loved, and clearly loved them in return.

When they hall got turned in a 1920's style with tea light candles and cocktail tables - guests munched on finger food, popcorn, cocktails, and yummy yummy cake! And one of those cakes was the lips from the cover of the The Rocky Horror Picture Show. They did their grand march to the song Time Warp - this was seriously one of the coolest things I have seen. In case you didn't know why they have tid bits from the movie - this is how they met - they stared in the play together!

I could gush, and gush about these two wonderful people but before I go on an on - her are my favorites from their big day!

Oh first looks .. LOVE THEM!

 

Thank you so much Andrew and Michelle for letting me in on your special day - it was seriously a blast, and I am wishing you YEARS and YEARS of love and happiness together!

Blind Follow .... {Personnal blog to all future potential clients - Wisconsin Lifestyle Photographer}

Some people might say that this blog is something that I shouldn't write, but personally I think I should for sure write it. 

I stupidly took some HORRIBLE advice from a fellow photographer (not going to name names) to experiment with potential clients instead of just asking them. I was thinking of changing my pricing to not offering the disc anymore, and only offering print packages with disc included. So I STUPIDLY followed the advice and then tried to make it better. I knew, damn it I knew it was bad advice and shouldn't have done it. But, this photographer told me it was a good way to see if you could get clients - WRONG!!!!

WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!!

I value honesty, and when this photographer blindly put me into a direction that I knew was not right - it shattered my integrity. 

I am putting it out there that is was WRONG, and I am honestly full hearted sorry for doing this. My heart sank when someone called me a liar, and scamer. This is NOT what I was doing. This photography business of mine is something that love, and built on HONESTY - I was always open with everything. Even how I HONESTLY thought of vendors and venues. 

And to the 2 people that I sent those STUPID email's to, I am SO SO SO sorry! It was wrong on all accounts and I am publicly saying it - because I DO NOT LIE! It was wrong, and won't happen again!

Thank you for reading, and know that if you book me as your photographer, you are booking an honest, loving, and caring person. And if you don't believe me - just ask ALL my clients - they will tell you that I was FULLY honest at their bookings.

And to all photographers out there DO NOT blindly take advice, even if it seems right. Think about it, what does your gut say - it is says HELL NO, then don't do it. Even if it's a small feeling - follow your gut and most importantly your heart. I was doing this till this BAD BAD advice, and trust me when I say this, I will not blindly take advice again!

The Phat Acrobats & The Paukstat's {Wisconsin Lifestyle Photographer}

My Aunt Terri and Uncle Jerry and I have been planning this photo shoot in the prairie for 1 year or so now - and we all finally made it happen. The sun was almost on the horizine, beautiful music was being played and wine was being drank - along with some witty jokes, stories and just plain FUN!

My uncle and his friend have been part of this band for some time now - and this was my first time hearing them. I have heard my uncle sing before (usually some goofy song that included a joke) and I knew he was talented. This was one shoot that I wish I had a videographer a long with me so you could get songs with the blog. Seriously they are good!
