Blind Follow .... {Personnal blog to all future potential clients - Wisconsin Lifestyle Photographer}

Some people might say that this blog is something that I shouldn't write, but personally I think I should for sure write it.

I stupidly took some HORRIBLE advice from a fellow photographer (not going to name names) to experiment with potential clients instead of just asking them. I was thinking of changing my pricing to not offering the disc anymore, and only offering print packages with disc included. So I STUPIDLY followed the advice and then tried to make it better. I knew, damn it I knew it was bad advice and shouldn't have done it. But, this photographer told me it was a good way to see if you could get clients - WRONG!!!!

WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!!

I value honesty, and when this photographer blindly put me into a direction that I knew was not right - it shattered my integrity.

I am putting it out there that is was WRONG, and I am honestly full hearted sorry for doing this. My heart sank when someone called me a liar, and scamer. This is NOT what I was doing. This photography business of mine is something that love, and built on HONESTY - I was always open with everything. Even how I HONESTLY thought of vendors and venues.

And to the 2 people that I sent those STUPID email's to, I am SO SO SO sorry! It was wrong on all accounts and I am publicly saying it - because I DO NOT LIE! It was wrong, and won't happen again!

Thank you for reading, and know that if you book me as your photographer, you are booking an honest, loving, and caring person. And if you don't believe me - just ask ALL my clients - they will tell you that I was FULLY honest at their bookings.

And to all photographers out there DO NOT blindly take advice, even if it seems right. Think about it, what does your gut say - it is says HELL NO, then don't do it. Even if it's a small feeling - follow your gut and most importantly your heart. I was doing this till this BAD BAD advice, and trust me when I say this, I will not blindly take advice again!

The Phat Acrobats & The Paukstat's {Wisconsin Lifestyle Photographer}

My Aunt Terri and Uncle Jerry and I have been planning this photo shoot in the prairie for 1 year or so now - and we all finally made it happen. The sun was almost on the horizine, beautiful music was being played and wine was being drank - along with some witty jokes, stories and just plain FUN!

My uncle and his friend have been part of this band for some time now - and this was my first time hearing them. I have heard my uncle sing before (usually some goofy song that included a joke) and I knew he was talented. This was one shoot that I wish I had a videographer a long with me so you could get songs with the blog. Seriously they are good!

Thank you Terri and Jerry for the fun time and AWESOME dinner - The Phat Acrobats wonderful to listen to!

I am FINALLY announcing what I have been keeping a secret - for what seems like FOREVER!!!!! I put it out into Facebook Land that I needed 4-5 ladies aging 20-50, and I got a wonderful response, and I filled the ladies in on what they were in for, and that they could NOT TELL A SOUL!

And I know what you are thinking - Glamour Shots like in the mall. But are far from WRONG!

The sessions that I am offering are to enhance a woman's natural inner beauty - letting you shine!

I am so thankful for all these ladies help and wonderful company during their sessions! And I truly believe that EVERY woman is beautiful no matter the age, job, race, or money. Sometimes it is hard to do something just for yourself, get pampered - have a dance party in the street! This is something I want to start to get EVERY woman a change to let their inner beauty shine on the outside - your make up and hair is done to you liking and personality. It is not caked on or hair is not plastered with hard hair spray. This session is natural, beautiful, and most of all ALL ABOUT YOU as a beautiful confident woman!

First I would like you to meet the wonderful Ashley who did the hair and make up at all the sessions - She is furthering her education in Green Bay - and may I say SHE ROCKS!

Katie is a 22 year ol Psychology Major at UW-Oshkosh - you will find her either with her friends dancing, or at home writing and sketching

Amanda is a married mom in her 30's with two wonderful little boys that are her world, married to Aaron for 9 wonderful years. By day she is your average "bean counter" crunching numbers and by night she is a dinosaur playing, fort building, supper making, house cleaning wife & mama. When she is not with her boys watching them play sports or playing in the yard she is reading, scrap-booking, and event planning. Her dream is one day owning a bakery & event planing business.

Mr & Mrs Bartel {Waupaca Wisconsin Wedding Photographer}

When I first met Clare at Simpsons in Waupaca and talked over some Root Beers - I was love struck with her wedding. She told me about a school house, home grown flowers and how natural she wanted her wedding to be. And that it was - but what she left out was how FUN, LOVED FILLED, and BEAUTIFUL it all was!

I didn't meet Nick until the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding - and he was also a kind hearted, and handsome young man. I didn't find out till the wedding day that he was a Marine that served 2 tours over seas! This explained his politeness, and kindness while the short time I have known him!

It was hard to pick these few favorites from their weddings - it was such a beautiful relaxed day filled with family, drinks and dancing!
